Weddings G Hotel Galway

16th December 2015
Denise and Liam's wedding was one that I was looking forward to for some time. I covered Liam's sister Olivia's wedding a couple of years ago and the same story applied to Denise's sister Jackie whose wedding I covered on New Years Eve a couple of years ago. It helps matters immensely when your familiar with those that your working with....and more importantly that they're familiar with you and matters run very smoothly on wedding day.
The very short 2 minute drive to Denise's home was also the added bonus. As always, very appreciative of the welcome from Dennis and Bridie...always made feel at home and offers of tea/coffee or even a fry up!
Good to chin wag with the Ozzie's that came home (Jackie and John) as well as Nicky and Anne Marie who were fantastic bridesmaids...great people to be around on a wedding day!
The journey from Denise's home to the church was even shorted than my journey to her house....a couple of hundred yards...again, all helping matters and timings on wedding day!
After the ceremony, we made the journey to the promised land that is Galway (....I jest Mayo people) and old Galway in particular, the Claddagh. I love this part of Galway, as well as having the Galway Bay backdrop we're also a short walk from Quay street which also throws up some beautiful photo opportunities.
After our stroll through both spots, we made our way to the excellent G Hotel in Galway....a lovely spot that also has one of the best wedding organizers that you'll get in Rachael Shanaghy...a super person!
Thanks so much Denise and Liam for trusting me with your wedding photos and I hope your happy with same.
I wish you both the very best and I'll look forward to crossing paths in the near future again lads!
In the mean time mind yourselves!!
