Weddings Ardilaun House Hotel Galway

04th January 2016
Orla and Emmett's wedding took place on one of the finer days that we had this summer....totally appropriate that this lovely couple had one of the few sunshine days as they were totally deserving of it!!
Killererin Church was where the ceremony took place and as always it was a treat to bump into Mike Flannery of the Seabury Studio shooting Video....a great guy to work with and also be around on wedding days!
As with most weddings on this side of Galway, there was a massive bonfire lit journey to send the newly weds on their way after the ceremony. We made the journey to the Quad in NUIG for some photos before arriving at the brilliant Ardilaun House Hotel for a brilliant reception.
Orla and Emmett were a treat to work with.....we had done an "engagement session" earlier in the year and I fiend this helps us build a friendship prior to wedding day as well as help them both be comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. This is something that they didm;t need however....Orla is like a model and Emmett being a fit man from the hurling....they were both a treat to work with. As well as the cosmetic beauty, they were also two people that you'd feel very comfortable taking to and working with......I felt we were all on the same page on wedding day and it was one that I thoroughly enjoyed.
After the meal, one of Galway finest wedding bands The Conquerors had the dance floor full guaranteeing a brilliant night for guests!
Thank you once again Orla and Emmett for trusting me with your wedding photography and I wish you both the very best for the future!
