Wedding Westwood Hotel Galway

25th September 2014
A beautiful summers day, two very welcoming and friendly families and plenty of guests who were couples that i worked with previously made for an extremely enjoyable wedding!

When I met up with Sandra and Neil before the wedding, Neil was pretty focused on saving the hay as opposed to wedding photography, I'm grateful to Sandra for her concentration on matters! Neil is a good man however and I think it helped us both that I had covered his brother Colin's wedding and he knew how I worked.

Thanks very much to Sandra's parents for the lovely welcome to their fabulous country home just outside Claregalway. The atmosphere was exceptionally relaxed and we all had a good chin wag in the presence of Sandra Gillen Make Up and the very amiable Tommy Hannon from Molten Sky who was covering video.

The music in Claregalway was by the brilliant Sinéad NicGabhann who recently received the "Church Singer of the Year" award from Mrs2be and she was accompanied by the brilliant Seán DeBurca who is also an excellent performer!

After the ceremony, we headed off to the memorial park in Salthill and grabbed some fun images incorporating the Galway/Mayo rivalry before making the Westwood house Hotel our final destination where Jive Buddies had the crowd rocking well into the early hours of the morning.

Thanks Sandra and Neil for being great people to be around on a wedding day and I wish you both the very best for the future!

Neill feeling the nerves and getting impatient!!

Looking very relaxed here lads.......just as ye were all day!!

I think there'll always be that small bit of Galway/Mayo rivarly in this family. I'm rooting for the right side though....C'mon Sandra!!!
