Wedding Spanish Point Co Clare

29th September 2014

Claire and Vinny had a magical wedding recently in Clarinbridge followed by a reception in the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point Co Clare.

A super day where everyone was truly enjoying themselves and living in the moment......having said that, you'd want to have been in really bad form not to enjoy this one!!

Day gets off to a great Malvina (the exceptional make up artist) in Claire's home along with John Murphy of Avalon Video and Pat Feeney of Wedding Cars Ireland....all superb professionals and love working alongside them.
The wedding was full of a lot of "firsts" for me.....first time working in the chapel in the grounds of the Brothers of Charity in Clarinbridge (such a beautiful place that's full of character), as well as my first time working in the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point. I had taken a trip there a couple of days before the wedding to familiarize myself with it.....I was blown away by the natural beauty of the place and was hoping the weather would pray ball for us on the wedding day to avail of it....and luckily it did!!
It was also a first for me to see the bride and groom singing a song during the ceremony, truly exceptional stuff, well done Claire and Vinny, chest out!!
After the ceremony, wedding guests were invited to the gardens of the Bros of Charity were a marquee was erected and guests were wined and dined while availing of the lovely bit of nature that was on display there (actually reminded me of Coole Park). I thought this was lovely....being the parent as I am, I observed all the kids that were at the wedding playing on the swings and play areas while parents were able to have some snacks and beverages and observe everything while taking in the suns rays at the same was brilliantly planned and I'd love to have been a guest at this one! I was extra happy because we were able to do the family portraits here as well as some bridal work without much interference to Claire and Vinny or their guests.

After our time in the gardens (where we were well fed and watered), we made the journey to Spanish Point....making a stop at the beach adjacent to the hotel to finish off our bridal shoot.....and of course we also had one new addition to the bridal party....Charlie!! Such a beautiful dog and indeed he even donned the appropriate attire for the occasion! After our

Once again, the attention to detail that Claire and Vinny showed on their wedding day was so evident in the was almost like a showcase wedding such was the effort put in...well done lads, take another bow!

It's great working with other professionals such as I mentioned in the post above, it makes for a good day, but what makes it a great day is when you get two people such as Claire and Vinny who trust you on a wedding day and hand it over to you.....I'm grateful for that lads and I'm hoping that your as happy as I am with the images we captured. Thanks for being super to work with and I look forward to meeting up again in the near future!!

The brilliant Pat Feeney from Wedding Cars Ireland.....a thorough professional!

The attention to detail for all the 'bits and bob's' was truly something else!
