Wedding in the Connemara Coast Hotel Co Galway

29th June 2016
Emma and Patrick's wedding was during the superb heat wave that we were receiving in late May....such a wonderful day to make a journey from Oughterard to the Connemara Coast and observe the wonderful nature that's here in the West Of Ireland.
Emma's home is a haven for a golfer...wonderful views of the gold club, and indeed her parents Kevin and Peggy can be proud of their own landscape...beautiful gardens and trees and indeed a lovely bit of nature all around them!
Fair play to bridesmaids Freddie, Sorcha and Elaine for helping Emma so ably on wedding morning. Emma was lovely to be around....relaxed, a bit of a photographer herself and therefore made matters easier for me with her awareness of same.
A short journey to the church later, I met up with Patrick and the lads Thomas, Padraic and Caoimh....equally as happy in the sunshine as the girls were back in Emma's home.
Fair play to all involved in helping Oughterard church look so good on wedding day and although I can't recall the names of the two people who provided the was excellent.
After the ceremony we used the grounds of Oughterard Castle for some images.....for all the times I've been in Oughterard, I'd never been really is superb and full of character and it won't be long before I go there again with the family!
We made the journey to the Connemara Coast Hotel via the bog road from Moycullen to Spiddal....and the views on this road are spectacular.....there wasn't a ripple on Galway Bay it really felt like we were in a different planet on their big day.
The views in the Connemara Coast Hotel are equally as stunning and it was lovely for all of Emma and Patrick's guests to be hydrating in the sunshine overlooking Galway Bay with lovely views of the Burren and the Aran Islands....we don't see it too often which makes it magical when we do.

Thanks Emma & Patrick for being super poeple to work with....I enjoyed all aspects of your wedding day and thank you for trusting me with same. Please God we'll cross paths again in the near the mean time, mind yourslves!!
