Claregalway Hotel Wedding

14th May 2015

Lorraine and Cathal's wedding ceremony was distractingly amazing....Lorraine's beautiful gardens at the rear of her home......the coolest vintage cars I've witnessed bringing the happy couple to the church...music during the ceremony that was so good that you had to concentrate hard on not being absorbed by it....such a class laid back bridal party who were so easy to work with among some of the things that made it great!!

Thank you to Lorraine's parents Marion and Ger for the warm welcome on wedding morning and indeed to Matt and Florry Keane who I've had the pleasure of working with previously.

Headford Church is my local and it's always a pleasure to be around Fr Ray....a gentleman who's always conscious of where the photographer is and ensures he has a line of sight of the Happy Couple.

The music I touched on earlier was provided by Orlaith, Matt and Sean Keane with accompaniment from Colm Riordan....wonderful stuff and so easy on the ear. Lorraine's bridesmaid Noelle also did a beautiful number during the ceremony (playing her acoustic guitar) that had everyone enthralled...well done Noelle!

We availed of Luimneagh Pier for some photos....a breezy spot on wedding day but great to get some sunshine and be surrounded by some lovely nature before heading off to the excellent Claregalway Hotel and Nora Gill for the reception.

I really enjoyed this wedding and I'm very grateful to Lorraine and Cathal for being super people to work with....laid back and nothing was a hassle. Thanks to their bridal parties (Noelle, Lyndsey and Sharon as well as the lads Rory, Kevin and David) for their accommodating manner...nothing was a hassle to them! Hopefully we'll cross paths soon again lads!
