Wedding Mount Falcon Hotel Ballina

09th November 2015
Lisa and Mike were married in a very remote but very scenic part of Mayo....a beautiful place called Carratigue.
It's a bit of a journey there on the morning of a wedding but a very scenic and enjoyable one nonetheless!
It was a pleasure to bump into Mike Flannery of The Seabury Studio who was filming Mike and Lisa's big day....always a bit of fun when working with Mike!
Lisa's home was lovely and relaxed....plenty of chilled music reverberating around the house and everypone pretty laid back, a nice way to be.
The church was no more than 100 yards from Lisa's home so there was no excuses for being late!
Michael was also in good spirits at the church....a small bit nervous like most men are, but in good form nonetheless!
There were a few surprises after the ceremony....a trip to a nearby pub for a pint as well as a falconry display in the majestic Mount Falcon Hotel....a place I love working in with the most accommodating and amenable staff there.
The falconry display was excellent and we had perfect conditions for it....guests were able to bathe in the summer sunshine, have a pint and watch the birds performing!
Time wasn't on our side after the performance, the journey from Carratigue, the stop in the pub and indeed the falconry display had meant that we were like people possessed for about 20 minutes trying to get the family and bridal portraits taken before sitting for their meal.
The superb Nicola McGuire was singing with the Weightless Cosmonauts and had the place hopping for the rest of the much so that they even got Mike Flannery throwing a few shapes on the dance floor!

Thanks Lisa and Michael for trusting me with your wedding photos and I look forward to crossing paths with you in the near future again!
