Galway Bay Hotel Wedding with Susan & John

17th July 2013

I consider people from Cornamona as "good stock"'s where I traveled to find my wife!
I was delighted therefore to get the call from Susan (Cornamona native) with regards to their special day.
Susan's preparations took place in her sister's home (Jacqueline) in Kilcolgan.....a beautiful place with plenty of light and room. The bridesmaids (Jacqueline, Deirdre and Kelly and Isabelle) looked amazing and were in as good form as the jovial Susan!
The ceremony took place in the beautiful town of Abbeyknockmoy and that's where I headed to capture John and his groomsmen.

I must admit that the American Mustang car that they arrived in was a classy piece of machinery! It looked so in character with the lads and their attitude!

We made the track into Salthill Park (beside the Galway Bay Hotel) to capture some Bridal and Family Portraits before crossing the road to the Promenade in Salthill to avail of the good weather and scenery that was beside us. The Bridal Party were in great spirits and it was a pleasure being in their company for the shoot.....nothing was hard work or demanding for them! John even changed into his official Army suit for some photos and allowed us to get some nice unorthodox bridal portraits!

Thanks a million lads for being great to work with, and indeed for letting me capture your special day. I wish you both the very best and please God we'll cross paths agin in the very near future!
